Machinima: “Alt Character” A JaJa and WoPairs Project
So finally after our recent exclusive interview with WoPairs, he and JaJa have released their newest music video. “Alt Character” is about GiGi the hunter who is JaJa’s original main, finding herself in a jealous rage after she becomes aware that JaJa has been secretly playing her Mage alt more than her. GiGi is the character that you have seen most throughout JaJa aka PvP Gurls videos in the past, and we have all grown to recognize and love. Is this maybe a hint that we’ve seen the last of her, and maybe we will be introduced to a new star? Only time will tell, but I suspect this an introduction of things to come.
This is a break from the usual Hip Hop tracks that JaJa is famous for, and brings in a hard rock sound, which I think gave WoPairs a whole new direction as well. The video is unique to anything the pair has done before, and I love it. The song has a very dark, revengeful theme to it, that is reflected well by WoPairs in the video editing which features multiple characters playing a part in the story as people stand around Orgimmar discussing GiGi’s absence, and the appearance of this new mage. Followed by GiGi’s discovery and her collecting the assistance of a gold farmer to make the Mage dissapear. This video is definitely a break from the norm but adds in a whole new dimension of what I think we can come to expect.
