Lovely Glittering Loot & I got PWN’D
One of my guildies (Warlord Zychotic) had tried to take me thru the Love Boss in Shadowfang Keep (quite unsuccessfully due to my low level I died really really quick), and so I decided that I was going to stick around Hillsbrad because those guys over there have lots of lovely cloth and coins to loot and I’m right in the middle of the Battle of Hillsbrad quest chain.
While I was there, repairing my armor, the local defense started going crazy with messages that “Tarren Mill is under attack!”, so… I wandered over there to see what the fuss was about. There was an Alliance PVP guy over there, and he was just killing everyone in sight. I knew right away that I had absolutely no chance of taking this guy out, because of the “dreaded skull” 
on his nameplate. So, I was broadcasting messages in the local chat, trying to see if any Horde players were out and about. One of them asked me what class he was, so to see that, I clicked on that Alliance dude. Now when I clicked on him, he was pretty far away from me, but after I declined his “invitation” to duel, he ran right by me going for the guards, and I whacked him automatically because I didn’t get him unclicked before it was just too late.
Sooo… now I was flagged. If there are any noobs out there reading, that aren’t aware of this… our PVE servers are set up so that if you are playing PVE, PVP players can’t just “automatically” come in and kill you. You have to accept a duel, or initiate the encounter with a PVP player. So… that little mistake was the kiss of death for me…. SEVERAL times actually. I had some choice dirty words to say in my guild chat, quite honestly I was just considering using my hearthstone to get the heck out of dodge when Zychotic said he was on his way! Yay! Sooo… I resurrected and quietly crept around to where I could keep an eye on the Noob Killer until my rescuer could arrive. Yes, I hid in a corner and watched. Quietly sucking my thumb until help arrived.
My dark knight flew in on a bat from Undercity, ran right up to the Noob Killer, and before he could engage him… the Noob Killer Alliance Priest activated his hearthstone and ran! YAY!
Now… the lesson here for us Noobs, is just stay away from those filthy 
Alliance Noob Killers unless you’ve got backup with ya!!!
Keep an eye out on your nameplate. 
If you have a little Horde Icon on your name you’ve been flagged and any Alliance that gets anywhere near you, is going to kill you quick!

Now, about that gorgeous glittering pile of bodies featured above! I’ve made a few friends in game, and one that I play with frequently is called Holyasis. He helps me out, and generally has been just a lot of fun to hang out with. As of a couple of days ago, he was a level 79 Paladin. We like to run thru dungeons and kill a bunch of stuff, and he’s there to res me when I die. And trust me, I die a LOT.
One of his favorite dungeons is Razorfen Kraul, and while I don’t personally like it as much as Scarlet Monastery (SM has a LOT of silk cloth for us tailors BTW), I do think that Razofen is pretty darn cool. I just had to take the screenshot the other night, because the generous pile of bodies to loot was just sooo cool! So… shout out to Holyasis!
