ABILITIES
- Curse of Blood—Increases the target’s Physical damage taken by 5000 for 15 sec.
- Energy Shield—Deals 47500 to 52500 Arcane damage to all enemies with 0 yards, knocking them back. In addition, the caster becomes surrounded by an energy shield. This shield reduces all damage taken by 75% and allows the caster to fly.
- Force Grip—Capture the target in a field of energy, lifting them up into the air before slamming them into the ground. Each time the target is slammed into the ground they take 20000 damage. This damage is not reduced by armor. Last 5 sec.
- Seismic Shard—Rips a chunk of earth from the ground and hurls it towards a random player’s location. When the rock impacts this location any friendly or enemy unit within 5 yards will take a large amount of damage.
- Summon Gravity Well—Summons an area of crushing gravity. Any friendly or enemy units caught with 0 yards will be pulled towards the center. This spell deals persistent damage to all enemies within range, causing more damage the closer the target is to the center of the effect. Lasts 20 sec.
Heroic High Priestess Azil Strat
Phase 1
The high priestess should be picked up by the tank immediately, and all DPS should start damaging her right away. Players will first notice that Azil will Summon Gravity Well on random players which start off looking large circling void zones surrounding the player and then turning into gravity wells where they were standing. While generally we see all things on the ground as nothing good could come out of it, these gravity wells can be used to the groups advantage for the adds which will spawn quickly after the start of the fight. Players should position themselves so that they will have the Gravity Wells cast on them strategically between the combat area and where the adds will spawn and come towards the group.
If properly executed the group can position their selves with the gravity well between themselves and the adds so that the adds will run into the gravity well killing them all and causing the Gravity Well to shrink as it consumes more followers.
In addition she may also cast an ability called Forced Grip which basically renders the player immobile for 5 seconds unable to do anything before slamming them down onto the ground for 20k worth of damage. You do have the ability to interrupt her while channeling this ability, or even to bubble out of it if your a paladin.
Current group issues in Phase 1
players are simply spawning the gravity wells int he middle of the area where tanks want to fight Azil. This can be frustrating for the tank and cause the encounter to be much more mechanical than it needs to be.
Phase 2
After Azil has summoned her Gravity Wells and introduced you to the Devout Followers she will cast Energy Shield that deals a hefty amount of AOE damages but can quickly be healed through. She will fly back to her platform out of melee range, but ranged will still be able to attack her however they will be attacking her with a 75% damage reduction shield which means they wont be able to deal much damage to her..
Once Azil is back onto the platform she will begin to cat Seismic Shard 3 times which basically rips a large chunk of earth out of the ground and hurls at the players dealing tremendous damage which will almost inevitable result in the players death. As many have noted though these boulders will coming flying at you very slowly, and should be easily avoided as long as you keep an eye on them before she throws.
During this phase the Gravity Wells will still be spawning and the devout followers will still spawning. Just keep trying to place a gravity well between you and the adds, and you should be able to minimize any damage to nearly zero.
Rinse repeat this cycle until the end and you should be looking at a successful completion of Heroic Stonecore!
