(Spoiler) Cataclysm Beta: Throne of Tides Video Walkthrough

The Cynical Brit a World of Warcraft Fansite and home to the podcast “Blue Plz” has just released an awesome video of his run through the Throne of TIdes – Abysal Maw. The video is at 2 times the speed but it definitely isn’t to fast the commentator as he goes into details of each mob pull and their abilities. While the run isn’t exactly clean they do go as far as it is possible to go at this point in the instance as the final encounter is still locked. This video isn’t necessarily intended as a real guide since the final version may be much different and people should remember that this is the beta phase. Mostly this video is to give you a glimpse at what is coming up in the expansion. Check out what the Cynical Brit writes about it below as well as check out his commentary above.

On a side note I enjoy subscribing to a few podcast but until mmo-champion introduced me to this guy I had never heard of “Blue Please”. He is very funny, and I suggest at least stopping into his site to hear what he has to say and subscribing to his RSS.

All music (bar the intro) is composed by Sean Beeson. It is not part of the World of Warcraft soundtrack and the beta does not have new music enabled yet.

This is the second of two instances available in the current build of the beta (other instances will come when the level cap is lifted from 82 and when they’re actually ready to be tested). This is the Throne of Tides, a Vash’jir based instance set in an underwater complex, sporting impressive visuals and some entertaining bosses. On personal note I would hope that Blizzard continues to present fairly challenging basic 5-man content, because facerolling isn’t fun for anyone but mouthbreathing morons. Thanks.
